Accountant makes the shortlist

Desirie Lea, is a partner at Morris & Co Chartered Accountants and she has been shortlisted as Partner of the Year in the prestigious British Accountancy Awards 2018.

The Awards celebrate how firms use expert business strategies to improve the performance and bottom line of their clients. They seek to reward individuals who have contributed to the development and progression of accountancy, meaning Desirie is recognised as having demonstrated excellence in her profession. 

Desirie said, "I am very pleased to have been nominated as Partner of the Year in the British Accountancy Awards. A lot of hard work goes in every day to ensure our clients are more than just satisfied with our work and making the shortlist is testament to the effort the whole team at Morris & Co puts in to ensure we offer the best accountancy service possible.”

Desirie is no stranger to the British Accountancy Awards, having also received highly commended status in the Practitioner of the Year category in 2015.

She has a number of years’ experience in general practice dealing mostly with small/medium sized businesses and start-ups as well as overseeing the day to day running of the payroll bureau department which currently processes over 250 payrolls per month. She also specialises in acting for the ophthalmic and franchise sectors.

Morris & Co are based at Cheshire Oaks Business Park. They employ over 70 staff and act for more than 3000 clients.
