UKCM appoints new sales manager

Winsford-based repair and refurbishment company, UK Container Maintenance, has consolidated its industry presence with the appointment of experienced sales manager Alex Murphy.

With over 20 years of experience in the cleaning and waste industries, the 41-year-old has joined the company from London-based cleaning equipment specialist Trafalgar Cleaning Equipment.

He has joined the sales division of UKCM, developing the company’s sales’ pipeline in London and the wider south east region.

UKCM sales director Richard Delooze said: “We are delighted to welcome Alex on board. His time served in the industry will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team and help us to develop new business and grow our company presence across the south east and London.”

This latest hire follows hot on the heels of UKCM expanding into their brand new purpose built site in Winsford.

The 80,000 sqft factory houses a full refurbishment plant including wash, shot blast, spray, fabrication and repair and modification booths.

UKCM, the UK’s largest family owned container repair and refurbishment company now turns over £6 million per annum and employs more than 60 people.

It specialises in refurbishment of all types of waste and recycling containers, and works across the country offering waste companies and local authorities mobile repairs, as well as factory-based services.
